Waterborne Sealing Adhesives

Sealing adhesives close the flaps and seams of paper bags, cartons and boxes. These three grades are waterborne, so they are formulated without the solvent load of conventional sealing adhesives while still being made for production-line speeds.

• Waterborne Sealing Adhesive 7894 — provides bonding comparable to solvent-based sealing adhesives. Suited to plastic-to-plastic sealing such as the bottom seams of laminated shopping bags, and also bonds well to kraft paper bags. It works with both laminated and non-laminated materials, by hand or by machine.
• Waterborne Manual-Sealing Adhesive 601 — developed for hand sealing, with smooth brushing, easy application and strong bonding across a range of paperboard cartons.
• Waterborne Printed Carton Sealing Adhesive 602 — designed for printed and laminated cartons, where fast drying matters most for throughput, along with high bond strength and compatibility with different printed carton and paperboard stocks.
