Waterborne Panel Adhesive

Waterborne Panel Adhesives and the D3 / D4 Standard

These adhesives are synthesised by copolymerising special monomers and are supplied for wood assembly and panel bonding. The key distinction between the grades is how they reach the European D3 and D4 water-resistance classes: either as a single-component system, or as a two-component system used with a hardener.

• PB450 — a single-component main agent that meets the D3 standard and can be used directly for wood assembly. Combined with a curing agent it reaches D4, giving the water resistance needed for high-standard woodworking bonding.
• PB360 — a two-component system that meets the D3 standard when used with its curing agent, giving good water resistance for general woodworking bonding requirements.
• PB400 — a further grade in the range, supplied for the same wood-assembly applications.
