Waterborne Labeling Adhesive

What Labelling Adhesive 710 Is Formulated For

Labelling adhesive is judged on four things at once: how quickly it grabs the label, how firmly it holds it, how it behaves in the labelling machine, and whether the label still looks right after the bottle has been chilled, wet or handled. This grade is a waterborne acrylic emulsion developed to balance all four on high-speed labelling lines.

  • Labeling Adhesive 710 — 58 ± 2% solids at 75,000–90,000 cP (23 °C), pH 4.0–5.5, supplied as a milky white viscous liquid in 20 kg plastic drums.

Characteristics shown on the product data are strong adhesion with quick initial tack, easy application, no stringing and no edge lifting. Viscosity is formulated to stay stable through winter conditions, and the dried film gives good water resistance. The adhesive is applied directly to the labelling machine without dilution; keep the coating roller clean and the coating thickness consistent, avoid over-application, and allow enough curing time after labelling for full bond strength.

Intended for paper labels on plastic bottles, particularly in the edible oil and beverage industries, and suitable across a range of labelling machine speeds. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and freezing; shelf life is stated as 6 months between 0 °C and 40 °C.
