Shandong Huacheng High-Tech Adhesive Co., Ltd. manufactures waterborne polymer resins, functional pavement materials, coatings and adhesives at Dongshan Industrial Park, Qingzhou City, Shandong Province. Since 2003 the company has been recognised at national and provincial level for manufacturing quality, green production, industrial design and technical innovation.

Shandong provincial recognition
Shandong is the province the plant operates in, and its Department of Industry and Information Technology is the issuing body for most of the designations below.
Provincial Green Factory
Awarded to enterprises that implement environmentally friendly practice across their operations, maintain green management systems and adopt clean energy and efficient processes.
Provincial Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise
Awarded to manufacturers that hold a leading position in one product category over the long term. Huacheng received it for waterborne adhesives and surface coating materials.
Provincial Intelligent Manufacturing Scenario Unit
Recognises production sites that have deployed automation, process monitoring and digital control in place of manual operations. Huacheng’s reactors run under DCS control with automated colour mixing and filling lines.
Provincial Industrial Design Center
Covers the part of the business that pairs functional material development with applied design across adhesive, coating and decorative surfacing systems.
Shandong Quality Brand
Awarded for a named product rather than the company as a whole: the HUACHENG-branded anti-slip coating for road and pavement surfaces.

Intellectual property and research platform
66 authorized patents
The portfolio covers waterborne resin synthesis, polyurethane and polyaspartic technology, functional pavement materials and eco-friendly adhesive systems. It includes both invention patents and utility model grants.
Registered software copyrights
Two registered systems support production: the solid-state electrolyte processing and maintenance system (registration 2024SR2099107) and the lithium-ion battery research and production system (registration 2024SR2101658).
In-house testing laboratory
Gas chromatographs, UV aging chambers, tensile testers and humidity-controlled cabinets sit alongside the pilot reactors, so batches are evaluated on site rather than sent out. More than 30 senior engineers work across polymer chemistry, applied materials, coating formulation and adhesive technology.
The wider research platform includes the Weifang Key Laboratory and the Weifang Enterprise Technology Center, alongside the provincial research and industrial design centres listed above. Production itself runs on 24 m³ and 10 m³ reaction vessels under a distributed control system, with capacity for 50,000 tonnes of waterborne acrylic resin, 20,000 tonnes of polyester polyol, 40,000 tonnes of polyurethane resin and 40,000 tonnes of nano-enhanced materials a year.
